One of the striking features of the life of the early church is its commitment to corporate prayer (Acts 2:42).
Every Thursday evening we meet as a church to pray and to study the riches of God’s Word. We have the same conviction as John Bunyan: ‘You can do more than pray after you have prayed, but you cannot do more than pray until you have prayed.’ We encourage all church members and attenders to set time aside and make our midweek meeting a non-negotiable priority, as much as is possible, in the weekly routine of their lives.
On the first Thursday of the month we meet at the manse, 3 Strangeways Road. On the last Thursday of the month we meet in Home Groups rather than the normal midweek meeting. If you would like to join a Home Group, please contact Peter Leverton.
