Christian worldview

We held a short series of talks by Ian Cooper on a Christian worldview in 2011. The talks may be downloaded on our resources page.

Thursday 21st April - Why our culture became secular..The historical background from the 17th century (philosophers, biblical criticism, science etc). Just a sketch and intelligible to all.

Thursday 28th April - The new atheist challenge today..The main characters, looking especially at what they say about the 'badness' of God in the OT and some response.

Thursday 12th May - The believer's reasoned response.. To all of the above, especially looking at the weakness of the secular beliefs.

Adventurers

This group is for children of primary school age and meets every Tuesday evening during school term-time from 6.00-7.30. We have games, snacks, Bible stories, songs and craft. We would love you to join us! See the map for location, and contact us for more details.

youth group

The youth group for older children meets every Friday evening from 7.45-9.45 during term-time. Please contact us for location.

ladies' meetings

The ladies meet on alternate Wednesday mornings during term time. Please contact us for location.

mums' meetings

Mothers meet for Bible study on alternate Wednesday mornings from the ladies' meeting during term time at 10.15, with creche provided. Please contact us for location.

communion

We next observe the Lord's Supper as part of the morning service on 2nd June. All members in good standing of CPC or other evangelical churches are warmly invited to participate.

fellowship lunch

We eat lunch together after the morning service on the third Sunday of every month. All are welcome!

nursing home service

We run a short service at St. George's Court nursing home at 3pm on the third Sunday of every month.
